Since 1976, Hawkswood School in Eatontown, New Jersey has been a respected provider of high-quality special education services to children with autism and complex multiple disabilities. Hawkswood provides a comprehensive, individualized education designed to allow each one of our students to become empowered, fully self-expressed, productive, and contributing members of their families and communities. We offer preschool classrooms, a unique autism program, a program for students with multiple disabilities, a transition-oriented high school, and extensive clinical supports. Special education services address communication, cognition, learning, behavior, and mobility. Our philosophy on individual dignity and empowerment, community, family and diversity has informed our choice to use an evidence-based, student-centered, individualized educational framework.
