Harbour School

Description:

The Harbour School serves children with moderate to severe disabilities. The program serves children ages 6-21. It awards a high school diploma recognized by the Maryland State Board of Education. Related services include: speech, clinical, OT, PT, and audiology. The school primarily serves children with learning challenges that result from autism, learning disabilities, emotional disorganization and intellectual deficits. There is a 4:1 pupil/teacher ratio that does not include related service providers. Extra curricular activities include: sports, performing arts, clubs and community activities. The program is competency based and all graduates must be able to sustain competitive employment for a minimum of 3 months.
