Green Brook Academy is a New Jersey state-approved private special education school serving students in grades 6–12 whose educational, behavioral, and social-emotional needs require a more individualized learning environment. Since 1979, we have partnered with school districts, families, and community agencies to help students overcome challenges, recognize their strengths, and prepare for successful futures.

At Green Brook Academy, many of our students arrive having experienced academic struggles, trauma, mental health challenges, or repeated setbacks. Our role is not only to help them earn credits and a high school diploma, but to help them rebuild confidence, develop resilience, and discover their value.

Our small class sizes, highly trained staff, and integrated therapeutic supports allow us to meet students where they are while maintaining high expectations for growth. Through individualized instruction, counseling, social-emotional learning, transition planning, and career readiness lessons and experiences, we prepare students for life after high school.

For us, success is measured not only by diplomas, but by confidence gained, resilience built, meaningful next steps, and the lasting impact our students carry with them long after they leave Green Brook Academy.
