Description:

League School for Autism has been empowering students with Autism since 1966. As a year-round private, non-profit Day and Residential school, it serves 110 students, including 32 residential students, ages 3 to 22 with autism or a diagnosis related to or similar to autism. League School is the only school in Massachusetts to offer the innovative, evidence-based SCERTS Model, Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, Transactional Supports. Three distinct programs, Foundations, Pathfinders, and Transitions, are designed around the student’s age, developmental communication stage, and support level, with curricula and instruction individualized to the learning style of each student. Students range from those who are working toward a high school diploma and may attend post secondary education to those students who require hand-over-hand assistance for activities of daily living. Each program has a dedicated team including a Head Teacher, SLP, Clinician, OT or COTA, and BCBA, plus specialists.
