Located in Cambridge near Central Square, Farr Academy is a therapeutic day school serving grades 7-12. We use a non-judgmental, non-punitive problem solving approach. Working closely with families and collateral service providers, we develop a student’s ability to respond to life’s challenges in proactive and positive ways. Our students possess average to above-average intelligence and experience emotional, social, or behavioral disabilities that have impeded their success in school. Some students also have learning disabilities; our small student to staff ratio, 3:1, makes it possible for us to differentiate the curriculum to address all individual student needs.
