The ACLD Tillotson School is a co-educational special education day school located in Pittsburgh, PA. The school was founded in 1972 by a not-for-profit corporation, ACLD – Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities. The school provides a range of highly qualified special education programs and services to students ages 5 through 21. The ACLD Tillotson School is licensed by the PA State Board of Private Academic Schools and approved by the PA Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education. ACLD Tillotson School is licensed for students with autism, specific learning disabilities, and neurological impairments. ACLD, Inc. believes that individuals with disabilities are competent, capable individuals who can succeed when appropriate supports are in place. It is the mission of the association to provide educational services that ensure that individuals with disabilities will experience success for a lifetime.
