Since 1971, the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC) has served as the leading national voice for private special education and adult service programs across the country. We are committed to ensuring that children and adults with disabilities have access to the services and supports they deserve – delivered in the most supportive and least restrictive environment.  

Over the decades, NAPSEC has evolved into a trusted national leader for this unique community, providing advocacy, leadership, professional resources and a national network of more than 800 programs. Through partnerships with member schools, affiliated organizations, and policymakers, we work to ensure private providers can lay a vital role in shaping the future of special education worldwide.
