NAPSEC Site Reviewers are the cornerstone of the NCASES peer-review process and play a critical role in maintaining high standards across accredited special education programs. These dedicated volunteers serve on multidisciplinary teams to conduct onsite evaluations for programs seeking NCASES accreditation.

Through the NCASES Site Review process, reviewers help strengthen quality, accountability, and continuous improvement in special education programs worldwide.

Recommended Qualifications

Applicants typically bring a combination of the following experience relevant to special education program evaluation and accreditation: 

Five or more years of professional experience 
Familiarity with NCASES accreditation standards
Experience with accreditation, licensing, or regulatory review
Availability to participate in at least one Site Review annually

(Typically Sunday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon, including out-of-state travel)
