What CASA Does

Facilitates collaboration among state associations and their member programs, creating a unified voice for private special education programs at both state and national levels.
Shares best practices, research, and peer learning across states to support high‑quality services for students with disabilities.
Coordinates with NAPSEC’s federal advocacy and policy efforts, amplifying state-level priorities at the national level around education rights for students, special education advocacy, and federal education policy.
Hosts meetings and forums throughout the year to engage association leaders and program executives in meaningful dialogue and strategy.

Why It Matters

CASA helps ensure that private special education and adult service providers are supported, connected and proactive in shaping the advocacy and promoting excellence and collaboration within our community. Through CASA, state associations align with NAPSEC’s broader mission of supporting schools for students with disabilities and the providers that serve them.
